Funding Arrangement

Climate Action Start-Up Award

Climate Action Start-up Award-winning teams will be awarded a seed fund totalling HK$120,000 to prototype or implement the climate change solutions within 6-12 months. Funding recipients are required to submit reports and other documents requested by the Organiser during/after the funding period. The fund may be used for programme set up, implementation, operation and promotion. Seed fund would be awarded to the winners in two-stage:

First Instalment
HK$100,000 will be issued after the teams submitted the Funding Budget Plan and Milestone setting and signing of the Funding Agreement.
Final Instalment
HK$20,000 will be issued after the Final Report and Company Factsheet are approved by the Organiser. If necessary, the Organiser may request award recipients to submit additional documents for review.

Climate Action Acceleration Award

Climate Action Acceleration Award-winning teams will be awarded an acceleration fund totalling HK$180,000 to accelerate the growth of the start-ups and facilitate the implementation on combating climate change. The funding recipients are required to implement their projects within 12 - 24 months. Funding recipients are required to submit reports during/after the funding period. The fund may be used for programme set up, implementation, operation and promotion. Acceleration fund would be awarded to the winners in two-stage:

First Instalment
HK$120,000 will be issued after the teams submitted the Funding Budget Plan and Milestone setting and signing of the Funding Agreement.
Final Instalment
HK$60,000 will be issued after the Final Report and Company Factsheet are approved by the Organiser. If necessary, the Organiser may request award recipients to submit additional documents for review.
